For security reasons every email account created at TechValleyHost.com has a filter added that will prevent delivery of messages containing .pif or .scr attachments. These attachments are common in virus emails. If you have a .scr or .pif file that you wish to receive, you can manually disable these filters. |

To manually disable the filter, please do the following: |

1. |
Login to your webmail account located at http://mail.YourDomainName.xyz:8000 using the admin@YourDomainName.xyz username and your primary FTP password. |

Click on the Options and Styles drop down menu and select Domain Filters from the list. |
|
|
|
 |
|
|

You'll see a screen similar to the one shown below. This lists all of the filters enabled for your entire domain name. |

|

Click Modify on the filter with a Value of 'name=.{1,64}\.pif' to see the details of the filter. |
|

|
5. |
Make the necessary changes to suit your needs: |
|
|
|
|
 |
If you wish to Delete the filter, click Cancel and then click Delete. |
|
 |
If you wish to Modify the rule, click on the rule and edit the info in the Phrase field. Click Update Condition to save the change. |
|
 |
If you wish to Change the action, select a new action from the Filter Action drop down. You can click here for more information about creating a spam filter. |

Click Finish. |
