For security reasons every email account created at TechValleyHost.com has a filter added that will prevent delivery of messages containing .pif or .scr attachments. These attachments are common in virus emails. If you have a .scr or .pif file that you wish to receive, you can manually disable these filters.
To manually disable the filter, please do the following:

1. Login to your webmail account located at http://mail.YourDomainName.xyz:8000 using the admin@YourDomainName.xyz username and your primary FTP password.

2. Click on the Options and Styles drop down menu and select Domain Filters from the list.

3. You'll see a screen similar to the one shown below. This lists all of the filters enabled for your entire domain name.

4. Click Modify on the filter with a Value of 'name=.{1,64}\.pif' to see the details of the filter.

5. Make the necessary changes to suit your needs:

If you wish to Delete the filter, click Cancel and then click Delete.

If you wish to Modify the rule, click on the rule and edit the info in the Phrase field. Click Update Condition to save the change.

If you wish to Change the action, select a new action from the Filter Action drop down. You can click here for more information about creating a spam filter.

6. Click Finish.
