| Question: |
|
Are Session Variables allowed? |
| |
| Answer: |
|
Yes we are using the default setting of 20 minutes before they expire. |
| |
| Question: |
|
Can I store Cold Fusion session variables in my webserver's registry? |
| |
| Answer: |
|
No, as this will eventually fill up the registry and destroy the performance of the webserver. A full registry will cause the server to stop functioning and require a reboot to enlarge it, and a large registry slows down the server. As an alternative, we suggest using cookies or a database such as SQL server or MS Access to store your session variables, as this is a cleaner solution anyway. |
