If you would like to change the password for your email account you may login and set a new password. Only the root user can reset a password for if you forget the password.
To change the password for an email user, please do the following:
1.
Launch the SmarterMail interface at http://www.domainname.com/mail/
2.
Login using your email address and password. If you don't know the password see below.
3.
From the Settings menu select My Settings
4.
In the password section enter your new password and then confirm the new password
5.
Click Save
If you do not know the current password you will need to do the following:
1.
Login as Administrator with the password supplied in your setup email
2.
From the Domain Name list, find the domain name and click Login to Site
3.
From the Settings menu select Email Accounts
4.
Click on the email User
5.
You now have two options
To view the current password click Show Password
To reset the password, enter the new password and then confirm the new password
